Tintype photography in Seattle and Portland by Lucas Mobley and Kathryn Stevens. They are Seattle and Portland based Sunroom Analog.

Tintype photography (wet plate collodion) is one of the oldest types of photography.  It was invented in 1851.  SunroomAnalog is reinventing this early form of photography at their studio in Portland and in Seattle.

Sunroom Analog was founded in 2018 by Seattle and Portland tintype photographers Kathryn Stevens and Lucas Mobley.  They shoot in Portland Oregon and host occasional pop-up events in Seattle.

Tintype photography is a magical process that was one of the earliest forms of photography.  It was known for making great photography accessible to everyone.  It is part alchemy and part chemistry and part photography.
